Local Honey

At Been's bees, we strive to collect the best local honey bees can produce! Our honey produced from hives in Hummelstown, and  is free from man-made chemicals and never heated! 

Not all honey is the same! The flavor and color of honey changes based on the flowers that the bees are visiting. Early season honey, that produced from spring flowers is light in color, sweet and sometimes has a hint of floral flavor. Late season honey is produced from fall flowers, mainly asters and goldenrod, which produces a darker and more robust flavor.
